Description

<p>It's the two-handed surfacing plane with Anglo-Saxon shape for pros and do-it-yourself lovers in exclusive designe with Nickel sides and Evolution mechanism. Its heavy sole gives it a good inertia for all kind of timber. Break-iron adjustment allows a perfect planing, whatever the essence, in rough as in finishing. Throat opening adjustment allows the planing of still wet timber by reducing stuffing. Its extended shape backward of the blade and its very low center of gravity provide to this tool an excellent basis.</p>

This is the longest two-hand bench plane in the Evolution N range, with nickel-plated sides for optimum protection over time.
Ideal for planing large surfaces. Its very low center of inertia and the carefully designed shape of the handles ensure a constant, uniform force is exerted on the tool. The result is impressive, with uniform chips every time. The screws located on the sides of the tool also enable 90° surfaces to be worked, thanks to the perfect squareness between the tool and the workpiece. The innovative instant blade-change system ensures that the tool is always factory-sharpened. Blades change in seconds, and you can work soft, medium and hard woods with the same tool. The 48mm blades supplied are compatible with the other planers in the range (105 and 220). Once completely worn out, you can give your blades a second life by using them in the RALI scraper to loosen various materials.

No more sharpening

Unique patented blade-change system in seconds. The blades supplied are bi-cut and reversible with a factory-set cutting edge.

Setting 1:
cutting depth

Instant cutting depth adjustment with red lever. There's no need to lay your plane down when you set it up. Simply retract the blade to the base.

Setting 2 :
the chipbreaker

This adjustment is made with the central red knob in a matter of seconds, for perfect roughing and finishing.

Setting 3 :
the mouth

The unique design of our soleplate makes it very easy to adjust the mouth by simply unscrewing the 3 screws on the front soleplate. Ideal for avoiding jamming on green wood, for example.

Blade always parallel

The original RALI blades are automatically locked in place and aligned parallel to the base by means of cleverly placed coded pins on the chipbreakers.

Very, very long blade life

1 mile of chips with a single blade: this is the test carried out at the factory with a chrome blade dedicated to working with soft to medium woods.

Low center of gravity

This provides excellent footing and stability. It's the ideal tool for heavy-duty planing work with a classic Anglo-Saxon grip.

90° TOOL OPERATION

With no protruding flank screws, the RALI 260 Evolution N plane can be used to workpieces by laying the tool on its side.

A clever little compartment

No need to search for your blades in the toolbox or in a locker, a small compartment in the rear handle allows you to store several blades. Ideal for jobsites, your tools are always ready for use.

5-year warranty offered

On the 260 Evolution N plane, we offer a 5-year warranty instead of 2, as on all tools in this range. As a manufacturer, we can supply all spare parts for your future plane.
